Can I download the application now?
Yes. The Desktop beta 0.5.3 for Windows x64 is available for testing with synthetic data only. It is not a commercial release. Find the installer and warnings in the download section.
Do I need an account to use my vault?
The local Desktop vault works without an account or an Internet connection. Planned Cloud access will require an account and an active subscription.
How is Lifetime Local different from Pro Cloud?
Lifetime Local is a one-time purchase for Premium Desktop features, without Cloud service, for the product’s commercial lifetime. Pro Cloud is a subscription with planned local Premium features, Web access, sync and 5 GB total per account. A valid Lifetime licence gives 15% off individual Pro Cloud, including renewals; it excludes add-ons and cannot be combined with campaigns.
Does each Family member get 10 GB?
No. The five accounts share 10 GB: one owner and four members. An extra member adds a seat without increasing storage. Sharing capacity does not grant access to other members’ personal vaults. The Family plan and shared family vault are still in preparation.
Will the extension require Pro Cloud?
Basic local integration is planned for Free and Lifetime Local, with or without Internet. It will require the Desktop app running, the vault unlocked and an authorised connection. The local bridge and autofill are not available yet. Planned Cloud mode requires active Pro Cloud, including authorised Family members.
Where are my passwords stored?
The Desktop app keeps them in an encrypted vault on your computer. Web access and sync are not available yet. Keep backups somewhere separate.
Can I recover a forgotten master password?
The current recovery key does not replace a forgotten master password. Keep your master password safe: you need it to open the vault.
